What is Super VC ‘GO-VC®’
GO-VC® is amphiphilic and nonionic ascorbic acid (AsA) derivative.
It is an advanced high stability and permeability type of Vitamin C derivative which does not have disadvantages of pure Vitamin C.
GO-VC® having glyceryl group in its structure, it is expected to have high humectant ability. Also, among other Vitamin C derivatives amphiphilic GO-VC® with higher stability can be formulated with various cosmetic products.
Brightening
To maintain transparent beautiful skin, it is important to suppress the melanin production at melanocytes.
GO-VC® suppress the melanin production, and the suppressing effect appears at lower concentration than that of arbutin, which is a famous skin whitening agent. Also, GO-VC® suppress the intracellular transfer of melanosome in melanocytes.
Anti-Acne
GO-VC® suppress the proliferation of p.acnes having high antioxidative effect. The suppressing effect is higher than those of methyl paraben, AsA, and octanol.
Collagen Synthesis
GO-VC® enhance the proliferation of fibroblasts and also enhance the production of type I collagen, which are important for resilient skin.
